In this talk, Mathilde shares a few anecdotes about the funny things that happened while working on the audio for this sad game. She also discusses how the word "distance" played a fateful role in the sound design.
Mathilde is a sound designer and composer from Hamburg. Since 2018, she has worked as a freelancer on a variety of indie games, including Unrailed! 1 and 2, ODDADA, and Closer the Distance, developed by the Hamburg-based studio Osmotic.
