As an interaction designer, he is researching playful interaction and procedural rhetoric and gives workshops around the world. He also loves staging gamejams and game-culture events like temporary escape games, XBox-Rock Battles or retell contests with the Gamestorm-team or showcase machinimas in cinemas. In the last years, he is committed bringing education and games closer together, for example by creating playful workshops about democracy. In his spare time, he is also coordinating the activities of the German Code Week.

I like people calling me "Mat" and asking for virtual worlds and theater. Yes, that's an invitation.
