Janina Bock
My name is Janina Bock. I am 35 years old and teach at the Schule am See school in Steilshoop, where I currently teach a sixth-grade class. I completed my master's degree at the University of Hamburg. During my studies, I first came into contact with the use of computer games in the classroom in Andreas Hedrich's seminar on games in the classroom—a topic that still fascinates me today. In my master's thesis, I examined the potential of the computer game What Remains of Edith Finch for literary learning. The reading companion booklet for the game The Inner World was created as part of my preparatory service as part of my exam in German. The students worked with this booklet with great interest and enjoyment – and are already eagerly awaiting another one.
