Daniel Marx
Managing Director and Game Director at Osmotic Studios
Daniel co-founded Osmotic Studios in 2014 as one of three people. There, he takes care of both game content and mechanics, as well as coordinating their implementation. Daniel initially studied computer science at the University of Paderborn, then completed the "Games Master" program at HAW Hamburg, which also gave rise to Osmotic Studios.
In 2016, the studio released its critically acclaimed debut project "Orwell," an interactive thriller about data espionage. The sequel, "Orwell: Ignorance is Strength," was released in 2018. Most recently, after over four years of development, the latest work titled "Closer the Distance" was released. This is a narrative life simulation about the deceased Angela, who tries to influence and help the residents of the small village of Yesterby, from where she comes.
