Andreas Gaschka

Andreas is a creative director, game designer, and DJ. He holds a master’s degree in Time-Based Media - Games from HAW Hamburg and a diploma in media design from the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. For over 20 years, he has been working at the intersection of games, animation, and branding - including at Buck in Los Angeles, as a co-founder of the Supyrb studio, and most recently at Deli in Hamburg. Together with Supyrb, he developed the game Marbloid, which was featured by Apple as “Game of the Day” and was nominated for a Webby Award and at the IGF. Today, he is building Guillotine DJ, a learning app that teaches DJs a wide range of techniques in a playful way. As a DJ, he is primarily interested in what happens between tracks - as a game designer, he is interested in what happens between levels. Mit seinem Sound beschallte er 2016 die PLAY und leitete 2017 und 2018 Character-Design-Workshops. Seine Arbeiten wurden unter anderem mit dem Adobe Design Achievement Award und dem Animago Award ausgezeichnet.
