Creative Gaming Studio: Worldbuilding

In the Creative Gaming Studio, you can try practical methods for creatively using digital games. No prior experience is required and spontaneous participation is always welcome.

World building merges digital and analog play worlds: a Luanti world (an open-source variant of Minecraft) is projected onto a large sandbox, which is designed using kinetic sand, tools, and lots of imagination. While valleys, cities, and landscapes emerge in the sand, a virtual world grows in parallel in the digital projection from a bird's-eye view.

Please note: Mornings from Wednesday to Friday are reserved for school classes and groups. You can expect to see them more often at the festival during these times. However, the festival is still open to everyone on these days. Schools and groups must register in advance by email or book a festival visit using the booking tool.
