Creative Gaming Studio: Game Videos

In the Creative Gaming Studio, you can try practical methods for creatively using digital games. No prior experience is required and spontaneous participation is always welcome.

Game characters come to life at the Game Video Station! Using tablets and the Stop Motion Studio app, participants create short animations and films based on Mario templates and other well-known 2D game elements. They develop their own avatars, animate them frame by frame, and tell their very own mini gaming stories—creatively, playfully, and with plenty of retro charm.

Please note: Mornings from Wednesday to Friday are reserved for school classes and groups. You can expect to see them more often at the festival during these times. However, the festival is still open to everyone on these days. Schools and groups must register in advance by email or book a festival visit using the booking tool.
