Helping Hands Wanted!

The PLAY – Creative Gaming Festival will take place from November 12–15, 2025, at the young architecture center URBANEO and New Work in Hamburg’s HafenCity. This year's theme, "Take Care" will be reflected in a colorful program of workshops, talks, shows, performances, and numerous international games in the exhibition.

💪 We are looking for helping hands from Hamburg to support the exhibition (on a voluntary basis).

What that means:

• You’ll become part of the festival team and

• help manage different areas in shifts with others,

• explain the games,

• engage with visitors, game developers, and artists, and

• keep an eye on the technical setup.

Please let us know what times you're generally available for (Wed–Sat, either 8:00 am–3:00 pm or 2:30 pm–9:30 pm). Then, we'll schedule your actual shifts together with you.

Since you will also be interacting with school classes and other youth groups, it is important that you can provide an extended certificate of good conduct. We will be happy to support you in applying for this if needed.
