Plapalapap

The Ear Wants to Hear is an interactive exhibition from the Klangskulpturen project (ligeti center), an artistic-research exploration of sound as a phenomenon. It sharpens your perception in a playful way, no matter how old you are.

The installation "Plapalapap" introduces you to abstract sound: your voice is picked up by giant ear sculptures and transforms as soon as you play with the sensors on the floor. It gets fragmented, distorted, put back together in new ways. You'll experience firsthand just how much impact your own movements have.
