Saskia Joanna Rauhut
Joanna is a creator of games, digital toys, and other playful media. She is interested in the many roles games can play in society. Lately, she has been researching how potentially harmful ideas can unintentionally find their ways into the games we design through patterns and mechanics we may take for granted. As a way to break from established game design approaches, she likes to come up with unusual prototyping methods: If you walk in on her, you might find her crocheting with her eyes closed, or constructing a tiny building out of carrots.
