René Gögge

René Gögge was born in 1985 on the island of Rügen, where he also grew up.

He has lived in Hamburg since 2005.

René Gögge joined the Green Party ahead of the 2002 federal election to campaign for the continuation of the red-green coalition. The right to free development and equal opportunities for all are issues that have always been close to his heart.

René Gögge was a member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly from 2008 to 2014. In 2015, he was elected to the Hamburg Parliament. In the past, he was spokesperson for science, culture, and public enterprises. In 2025, René Gögge was re-elected and is now spokesperson for culture and media.

René Gögge has a degree in public administration and works as a team leader in human resources management for the fire department.
