Given that a large number of teenagers and young adults spend time online every day, we recognize the internet as a relevant part of their lives, one in which there has unfortunately often been a lack of professional contact persons to date. The innovative offering of the “online:socialworker” project aims to close this gap. The project offers:

• Anonymous and low-threshold counseling by qualified professionals

• Direct and outreach communication in the digital environments of teenagers and young adults, for example on platforms such as Instagram, Discord, and Reddit

• Support that is easily accessible, independent of time and location, and meets the needs of young people
