Julia Barth-Dworzynski

Julia Dworzynski was born in Hamburg in 1995 and grew up in the Billstedt neighborhood. Today she lives with her family in Neustadt, right in the heart of Hamburg-Mitte.

Julia Dworzynski has been a member of the SPD since 2011, working to promote greater equality of opportunity and fair coexistence. In 2020, she was elected to the Hamburg Parliament for the first time.

After graduating from Sankt-Ansgar-Schule, she studied to become an elementary school teacher, specializing in German and general studies, at Leuphana University in Lüneburg and spent a semester abroad in Poznań, Poland. Since completing her teaching internship, she has been working as an elementary school teacher.

As a teacher and mother, she knows exactly how important reliable conditions are for families and children. In the Hamburg Parliament, she serves on the Education, Sports, and Transportation Committee, among others, and chairs the Family Committee. She is passionate about making Hamburg a family-friendly city and ensuring quality education.
