Josefine Maier
Josefine tells stories with powerful images and lasting impressions. After earning a degree in architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Games/Game Art, she worked in a diverse creative environment—from developing entertainment and educational games to illustrating children's books to designing and animating short films. She has also worked as a lecturer in game art and nude drawing.
Since December 2024, she has been part of the two-person creative studio Studio Zweisiedlerkrebs, which realizes audiovisual and interactive projects with social impact. There, she is primarily responsible for art direction and game design. The studio is currently working on a cooperative multiplayer educational game for young people, funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, which educates about radicalization strategies on social media.
