Alistair Aitcheson

Alistair makes playable performances where everybody gets to join in. Featuring everything from alternative controllers to painting, dance routines and clowns, his stage shows and livestreams invite the whole audience to take creative control! He also works with alternative controllers from inflatables to paper shredders, and creates surreal glitch-art challenges using classic console emulation.

His stage show "The Incredible Playable Show" won the Jury Choice Award at IndieCade in 2017. His livestream art-making game "Artholomew Video's Stream Challenge" was the winner of the PLAY22 Most Creative Game Award. This year he made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with an interactive clown show "My Date with Pierce Brosnan" in which the audience use their phones to voice of his stage partner: a talking dummy of Pierce Brosnan.
