Creative Gaming Studio
In the Creative Gaming Studio, you can try practical methods for creatively using digital games. Whether building game controllers or designing pixel protest posters – no prior experience is required and spontaneous participation is always welcome.
The methods at a glance:
Building controllers with Makey Makey | Initiative Creative Gaming e. V.
Participants develop their own game controller using the Makey Makey kit. Everyday, conductive objects can be transformed into touch-sensitive controllers. With simple materials and a little creativity, game controllers or even musical instruments can be made. No prior knowledge is required - the programme is aimed at anyone who is curious and enjoys experimenting.
Pixel-Protest | Initiative Creative Gaming e. V.
The Pixel Protest hands-on activity invites participants to design creative protest posters in a playful way. Participants can create their own pixelated messages and motifs using Lego printing techniques and the sandbox world of Minetest. Whether digital or analog, a colorful protest landscape is created that shows how games and creative design methods can be used to make political statements – a unique experience for anyone who wants to combine art and activism!
