In the Game Jam “Future Games,” young people aged 13 to 18 spent their summer break developing games around the theme “Hello AI – save the world, please.” The following games are on display:

JELL-E by Ai-Hoa, Clara, Tillman, and Zoe
Welcome to the quirky world—or rather, desktop—of JELL-E! In this humorous game, you must convince your cheeky AI assistant, who resembles a jellyfish in a suit, to clean your computer of pesky viruses you brilliantly downloaded. But beware: your virtual helper has a mind of its own and doesn’t particularly like you. Set in a retro operating system, the game offers entertaining gameplay full of unexpected endings.

Dr. Quirk by Araz, Diyar, Leander, Max, Oke, Robert, Tim, and Torge
Welcome to the thrilling world of Dr. Quirk! In this game, you play the brilliant Professor Dr. Quirk (of course!) as you try to find your USB stick containing a world-changing (for the better) AI. However, your lab has lost power, and now you must parkour through various rooms to reach it. The ending is fabulously complex, leaving much open to interpretation.

Comp-E by Deyar, Jolina, Leander, Marcel, and Nima
Welcome to the captivating world of Comp-E, a visual novel. In this gripping adventure, you follow a boy named Ray, whose AI friend, Comp-E, has been hacked. Your choices influence the story’s outcome—can you save Comp-E, or will he be lost forever?

The Game Jam was part of "Future Games – Game Design and Artificial Intelligence," a project by the Creative Gaming e.V. initiative, funded by the PwC Foundation and the Media and Education Project Fund. The project was supported by InnoGames GmbH and created in cooperation with MedienDock at Trockendock e.V.
